Melasma, in Iraq, is a common upsetting dermatological problem among young females. Chemical vitiligo could be seen as a complication following treatment with bleaching depigmenting agents. In this study four patients with melasma were reported to develop chemical vitiligo following topical therapy with 10% monomethyl ether of hydroquinone [Leucodinine B] ointment
