Correlation study between testicular volume and function in cases of infertility

ABSTRACT
Fifty infertile males were selected for this work. Their mean age was around 50 years. Patients were subjected to semen examination serum hormone estimation [F.S.H., LH, prolactin, and testosterone], and testicular volume determination, Twenty normal fertile males were selected as normal controls. An important correlation was found between testicular volume, sperm count, and serum hormones. Prolactin hormone was found to be andependable parameter in evaluation of cases of infertility
