Computerized anorectal manometry in the pediatric patient: initial experience

ABSTRACT

The authors present an early report on 27 cases of children with different anorectal diseases, submitted to pressure studies using conventional and computerized manometry. This study shows the advantages of the latter method, the methodological parameters used and discusses the future possibilities of computerized manometry in scientific research.
