ABSTRACT

The main purpose of this research was to investigate linguistic comprehension and production in relation to action, of eight spacial relations in a group of 18 educable mentally retharded children. Results indicate the close interaction between language and action and difficulties were observed when this group had to establish these relations, due to cognitive development and neurological organization
