Cuidando do cuidador: percepções e concepções de auxiliares de enfermagem acerca do cuidado de si / Taking care of the caregiver: perceptions of nursing aids concerning care for oneself

RESUMO

O estudo teve como objetivo identificar percepçÒes e concepções dos (as) auxiliares de enfermagem do Hospital de Apoio de Brasília, acerca do cuidado de si. Trata-se de um estudo descritivocom abordagem qualitativa, tendo como referencial teórico o cuidado transpessoal de Jean Watson. Para a coleta de dados aplicamos instrumentos com questões fechadas e abertas, e oficinas lúdico-criativas, utilizando-se a releitura da obra ôAbaporuõ, de Tarsila do Amaral. Da análise contínua dos dadosemergiram categorias de significados que apontam os seguintes resultados: compreendem que o corpo sejavisto para além dos cinco sentidos; enfatizam a existência da ligação corpo-mente-natureza; reconhecem o direito divino de ser cuidado e fazem a ligação do cuidado com a sua plenitude de ser e viver no mundo. Espera-se que este estudo possa contribuir para a conscientização da importância do cuidado de si para poder cuidar do outro, como um processo de internalização, em constante transformação.....

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to identify perceptions and conceptions of nursing auxiliaries of the Hospital of Support of Brasilia, concerning care for oneself. This is a qualitative study, supported by the theoretical reference of Jean WatsonÆs transpersonal care. The data was collected through the application of instruments, with closed and open questions, as well as the accomplishment of playful-creative workshops, with the reading of the work ôAbaporuõ, by Tarsila do Amaral. From the continuous analysis of the data, categories of meanings that point out the results emerged they understand that the body is seen beyond the five senses; they emphasize the existence of the body-mind-nature connection; they recognize the divine right of receiving care; and they make the connection between care with his/her fullness to be and to live in the world.
