Antropometria em biomecânica: características, princípios e modelos antropométricos / Anthropometry and biomechanics: characteristics, principles and anthropometric models

RESUMO

Face à importância da inter e da multidisciplinariedade na complexa análise do movimento humano e no intuito de buscar a aproximação da Cineantropometria e da Biomecânica, através da antropometria, realizou-se este estudo de revisão com o objetivo de apresentar a evolução histórica da antropometria e os pressupostos teóricos de seus modelos antropométricos; apresentar a antropometria enquanto método demedição em biomecânica; descrever o papel e o alcance da antropometria na biomecânica comentando algumasaplicações e suas contribuições. Inicialmente se faz uma abordagem dos aspectos históricos, conceituais e são apresentados os modelos antropométricos caracterizando-os e apresentando seus pressupostos teóricose limitações; num segundo momento a antropometria é analisada no contexto dos diferentes métodos de medição em biomecânica, estudando sua insersão no processo de análise do movimento humano tanto como pré-requisito da cinemetria e da dinamometria como na análise sincronizada. Segue então, uma reflexão sobre o papel e o alcance da antropometria na análise do movimento, exemplificando-os com diferentesestudos e identificando suas respectivas contribuições; por fim são apresentadas algumas considerações resultantes desta reflexão, onde se constata o estágio de desenvolvimento dos modelos antropométricos e a busca constante do aprimoramento nos últimos anos, utilizando-se técnicas cada vez mais sofisticadas...

ABSTRACT

Due to the importance of the inter and multidisciplinarity in the complex analysis of human movementand in order to seek the approximation of Cineanthropometry and biomechanics, through anthropometry, this revision study was made in order to present the historical evolution of anthropometry and the theoretical presupposition of its anthropometric models; to present anthropometry as a measuring method in biomechanics;to describe the role and reach of anthropometry in biomechanics by discussing some applications and itscontributions. Initially, a study of the historical and conceptual aspects is made and the anthropometric modelsthat characterize and present their theoretical presuppositions and limitations are presented. Secondly,anthropometry is analyzed in the context of the different measuring methods in biomechanics, studying theirinsertion in the analysis process of human movement as a prerequisite of cinemetry and dynamometry as wellas synchronized analysis. What follows then, is a reflection of the role and reach of anthropometry in the analysis of movement, exemplifying them in different studies and identifying their contribution, respectively.
