RESUMO

O artigo examina o paradoxo da liberdade humana sustentada no ponto de interseção entre a submissão e a transgressão aos valores normativos da cultura. O que fica delicadamente em jogo nessa articulação é o entrelaçamento dos impulsos, opostos e igualmente poderosos, de construção (Eros) e destruição (Tanatos). Analisa o momento atual, os riscos e a gravidade da fratura ética na comunidade humana.

ABSTRACT

This article examines the paradox of human freedom sustained by the intersection of submission and transgression to the normative values of culture. What is in consideration here is the delicate articulation and entwining of the opposed and equally powerful impulses of construction (Eros) and destruction (Tanatos). This is an analysis of the present moment, the risks and the gravity of the ethical fracture in the human community.
