Osteoma del seno frontal: presentación de un caso / Osteoma of the right frontal sine: case report

RESUMEN

Presentamos el caso de una mujer de 33 años de edad, blanca, con antecedentes de salud anterior, que fue diagnosticada y operada en el Servicio de Otorrinolaringología del Hospital Provincial de Ciego de Ávila, por un osteoma del seno frontal derecho sin exteriorización que tuvo una evolución satisfactoria después del tratamiento quirúrgico. Aprovechamos lo relativamente poco frecuente del caso para realizar una revisión bibliográfica del tema, haciendo énfasis en la técnica quirúrgica.

ABSTRACT

It is presented a case of a white- 33-year-old woman, with previous health antecedents, that was diagnosed and operated in the otolaryngology service of the Provincial Hospital of Ciego de Ávila, from an osteoma of the right frontal sine without exteriorization that had a satisfactory evolution after the surgical treatment. It was taken advantage of the relative little frequence of the case to carry out a bibliographical revision of the theme, doing emphasis in the surgical technique.
