Cirurgia da obesidade (adiposa) / Obesity surgery (fatty)

RESUMO

O objetivo é fazer um comentário resumido da importância da obesidade e suas conseqüências. Para tanto, busca-se na arte o padrão de beleza da mulher obesa; os problemas médicos que ela gera; as complicações decorrentes do uso das técnicas operatórias; uma lista histórica das operações até então realizadas e, por fim, uma reflexão com base na imprevisibilidade de resultado metabólico. Conclui-se que é preciso indicar com precisão, realizar com arte e acompanhar com apuro os distúrbios metabólicos irreversíveis.

ABSTRACT

The objective is to make a shart comment about the obesity importance and its consequences. Therefore, the pattern of the obese woman's beauty is searched in art, the medical difficulties that it generates; the current complications from the surgical techniques; a historical list of the attempted surgical procedures so far, and at last, a reflexion based upon metabolic results impredictability. At closure it's a must to point with precision, conclude with art and follow with the irreversible metabolic disturbances.
