Nuestra experiencia en la microcirugía de las hernias discales lumbares: a propósito de 116 casos / Our experience in microsurgery of lumbar herniated disc: a porpuse 116 case

RESUMEN

Exponer nuestra experiencia sobre casos de hernia discal operados con técnicas microquirúrgicas. Se estudiaron 116 pacientes operados entre los años 2002 y 2006. El análisis de la causuítica lo hicimos dividiéndola en dos grupos; un global y otro con aquellos pacientes que llevan más de un año de evolución. En esta última, 87 pacientes, se obtuvieron excelentes resultados en 73 casos (84,88 por ciento), buenos en 8 (9,3 por ciento), regulares en 5 (5,81 por ciento) y malos 0. Sumados los resultados excelentes con los buenos arroja la cifra de 81 que corresponde a 94,18 por ciento de logros satisfactorios. Han estado dentro de las cifras reportadas por la literatura internacional. Las detallamos y analizamos. La microcirugía es una técnica que facilita el procedimiento, con el mejor dominio de situaciones complejas, y ofrece mejores resultados que la cirugía convencional permitiendo además el acortamiento de tiempos de interación y la recuperación postoperatoria.

ABSTRACT

To expose our experience on cases of lumbar disc herniation treated with microsurgery. 116 patients operated between years 2002 and 2006 studied. The analysis of the casuistry we have done dividing it in two groups; one global and another one with those patients who take but of year of evolution. In this last one, 87 patients, obtained excellent results in 73 cases (84,88 per cent), good in 8 (9,3 per cent), regular ones in 5 (5,81 per cent) and bad 0. Added the excellent results with the good ones it throws the number of 81 that corresponds to 94,18 per cent of satisfactory profits. They have been within the numbers reported by international literature. We detailed and analyzed them. Microsurgery is a technique that facilitates the procedure, with better dominion of complex situations, and offers better results than the conventional surgery allowing in addition to the shortening to times of internment and the postoperating recovery.
