Uma compreensão da infância dos índios Jenipapo-Kanindé a partir deles mesmos: um olhar fenomenológico, através de narrativas e desenhos / A comprehension of the Jenipapo-Kanindé Indian's childhood from their own: a phenomenological look through narratives and drawings

RESUMO

Esta pesquisa objetiva traçar uma compreensão dos significados e da experiência de infância entre os índios Jenipapo-Kanindé, da comunidade da Lagoa Encantada, em Aquiraz, Ceará. Neste estudo, partimos da compreensão da Infância como uma categoria socialmente construída, vivenciada de forma singular em cada momento da história e nas diferentes sociedades. Inicialmente, discutimos acerca deste conceito e da história da infância no Brasil e no mundo. Posteriormente, discorremos sobre a questão indígena no Nordeste e apresentamos a comunidade que serviu de lócus de investigação neste trabalho. Para a construção dos dados, realizamos entrevistas com dois adultos e duas crianças da etnia Jenipapo-Kanindé. Recorremos ao método fenomenológico para a análise do material, tecendo reflexões acerca da infância dos Jenipapo-Kanindé, apresentando as contribuições dos principais autores que tratam da temática. Assim, pretendemos contribuir para a desconstrução do conceito de infância como uma categoria universal, trabalhando com a concepção da existência de várias infâncias

ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to trace a comprehension of the meanings and the childhood experience between the Jenipapo-Kanindé indians, from the community of Lagoa Encantada, in Aquiraz, Ceará. In this treatise, we start from the comprehension of childhood as a category socially constructed, singularly lived in each stage of history and in the different societies. Initially, we discuss about this concept and the history of childhood in Brazil and in the World. Later, we argue about the indian question in Northeastern and present the community that has been our locus of investigation in this research. For the construction of the data, we interviewed two grown-ups and two children of the Jenipapo-Kanindé ethnic group. We used the phenomenological method for the analysis of the material, making reflections about the childhood in the Jenipapo-Kanindé community, presenting the contributions of the major authors who deal with the subject. Thus, we intend to contribute to the deconstruction of the concept of childhood as a universal category, working with the conception of the existence of several childhoods
