ABSTRACT
This article aims to retrace Freud's investigation process when studying obsessive neurosis. Through chronological reading of his writings concerning the present topic, we shall follow some fundamental ideas on obsessive neurosis, especially referring to the first childhood sexual experiences, the role of anality, duality of drive and super-ego in the formation of this neurosis. In order to achieve the goal of this study we will return to the work of Freud, for we think only such a return will provide new grounds for the study of obsessive neurosis as well as serving as the first step in the investigation of other clinical structures and the importance of an adapted diagnosis in psychoanalysis.
