A maternagem de mulheres com filho pré-termo: bases para assistência de enfermagem neontal / The motherhood of women with preterm baby: bases for neonatal nursing assistance

RESUMO

Esta investigação traz como temática a maternagem. A escolha baseou-se na minha experiência profissional assistencial e docente cuidando de crianças hospitalizadas acompanhadas de suas mães em diferentes cenários e na minha vivência pessoal. O objeto de estudo foi ―a maternagem da mulher que teve filho pré-termo hospitalizado em Unidade Neonatal‖. Os objetivos foram: 1) Compreender a experiência vivenciada da maternagem da mulher que teve filho pré-termo hospitalizado em Unidade Neonatal; 2) Discutir a experiência vivenciada da maternagem em relação à assistência de enfermagem recebida na Unidade Neonatal. Os referenciais teóricos foram as Teorias do Desenvolvimento Emocional Primitivo de Donald Winnicott e do Cuidado Cultural de Madeleine Leininger. O método foi a História de Vida. As depoentes foram 23 mulheres que tiveram filho pré-termo hospitalizado em unidade neonatal. O cenário do estudo foi o ambulatório de follow-up de um Hospital Maternidade do Município do Rio de Janeiro....

ABSTRACT

This investigation brings as thematic the motherhood. The choice was based in my professional experience in the assistance and teaching field taking care of hospitalized children followed by their mothers in different settings and in my personal experience. The study object was ―the woman‘s motherhood that had preterm baby hospitalized in Neonatal Unit‖. The objectives were: 1) To understand the experience lived of the motherhood of the woman that had preterm baby hospitalized in Neonatal Unit; 2) To discuss the experience lived of the motherhood regarding the nursing assistance received in the Neonatal Unit. The theoretical references were the Donald Winnicott´s Theories of the Primitive Emotional Development and of Madeleine Leininger´s Cultural Care. The method was the Life Story. The deponents were 23 women that had preterm baby hospitalized in neonatal unit. The study scenario was the follow-up ambulatory of a Maternity Hospital of the Rio de Janeiro County...
