Es de gran importancia utilizar imágenes en sus presentaciones ya que muy probablemente la mayor parte de su auditorio estará compuesto por criaturas visuales que fundamentalmente maduraron simbólicamente a través de las imágenes. Dentro de los métodos audiovisuales el Power Point presenta la ventaja de requerir poca interacción (meramente apretar una tecla) generándo así una menor interrupción del flujo de información. No apague la luz durante su presentación por dos motivos importantes 1.- Desaparece el presentador 2.- Escuchar una voz en la oscuridad sólo induce sueño. Recuerde que la belleza formal de la imagen que usted inserta en cada diapositiva debe estar en un estricto equilibrio con su claridad didáctica. Cuanto menos cargada está la diapositiva mejor será interpretada por su auditorio. Los tamaños mínimos de letra recomendados son 44 puntos para el título y 32 puntos para el texto. Las diapositivas del PPT están hechas para ser interpretadas por el auditorio, NO para ser leídas. No controle los movimientos oculares de su auditorio con el láser, utilice los recursos del PPT para hacerlo. Las fuentes aconsejadas son aquella sin serif Arial, Arial Black, Tahoma y Verdana. No coloque más de 7 palabras en mayúscula por diapositiva. Utilice fondos oscuros y letras claras para el diseño de su diapositiva.

It is of great importance to use images in your presentations given that the mayor part of your auditorium will probably be composed of visual creatures that have fundamentally matured symbolically through images. Of all audiovisual methods the Power Point has the advantage of requiring little interaction (merely pressing a button) generating in this way a minor interruption in the information flow. Do not turn off the light during your presentations for two reasons 1.- The presenter disappears 2.- To listen to a voice in the darkness only procedures drowsiness. Remember that the formal beauty of the image that you insert in each slide has to be in strict equilibrium with the didactical clarity. The less "charged" the slide is the better interpretation it will get from the auditorium. The minimum size recommended for letters is 44 points for the title and 32 points for the text. Slides in Power Point are made to be interpreted by the auditorium, NOT to be read. Do not control your auditoriums ocular movements with the laser; use the resources in the PPT to do so. The recommendation for this is to use fonts without serif Ariel, Arial Black, Tahoma and Verdana. Do not use more than 7 words in capital letters in each slide. Use dark background and light letters for the slide design.
