Controvérsias como práticas discursivas: uma abordagem retórica / Controversy as discursive practices: a rhetorical approach

RESUMO

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar alguns conceitos analíticos fundamentais para a realização de uma interpretação retórica em material empírico discursivo. Para este fim, apresentamos primeiramente o Construcionismo como vertente epistemológica de apoio para o estudo da linguagem na construção de fatos sociais; em seguida fazemos uma abordagem das diferentes correntes de análise de discurso para depois discutirmos o enfoque da Psicologia Discursiva sob a perspectiva das Práticas Discursivas; a noção de controvérsia é discutida na quarta parte, juntamente com a noção de recursos estratégicos e, por ultimo, apresentamos um exemplo de análise retórica para ilustrar a discussão metodológica apresentada.

ABSTRACT

The aim of this paper is to present some key analytical concepts for the realization of a rhetorical interpretation of empirical discourse. In this way, we present first the Constructionism as an epistemological way of support for the study of language in the construction of social facts; then we make an approach to different streams of discourse analysis and then discuss the approach to Discursive Psychology from the perspective of Discursive Practices; the notion of controversy is discussed in Part Four, along with the notion of strategic resources and, finally, we present an example of rhetorical analysis to illustrate the methodological discussion presented.
