Crecimiento y desarrollo del seno maxilar y su relación con las raíces dentarias / Growt and development of the maxillary sinus and its relation with the dental roots

RESUMEN

El seno maxilar es el primero en desarrollarse y lo hace en el transcurso del tercer mes de gestación (12ava semana V.I.U.) siguiendo una serie de sucesos morfogenéticos. Su ritmo de crecimiento es muy lento durante la vida fetal. Para algunos autores su crecimiento depende de las piezas dentarias, pero está demostrado que lo hace como consecuencia de la función respiratoria. Los dientes relacionados con el piso del seno varían y pueden ser sólo los tres molares o incluir los premolares y los caninos. La Sinusitis Maxilar se acompaña con frecuencia de dolor dentario. Las infecciones pueden propagarse con facilidad entre el seno frontal o las celdillas etmoidales anteriores, la cavidad nasal, los dientes y el seno maxilar.

ABSTRACT

The sinus maxillary is the first which starts its development, and it do this during the third month of the gestation (12th week VIU) through a group of morfogenetics events. It’s rhythm growth is too slaw during the fetal life. For some authors the growth of the sinus maxillary depends on the dental pieces, but it’s proved that it’s growth is a consequence of the respiratory function. The teeth which have relation with the floor of sinus can be the premolars, the canines or only the three molars. The maxillary (sinusitis) usually presents tooth ache. The infections are able to propagate easily around the sinus frontalis or the cells etmoidalis carlier, the nasal cavity, the teeth and the sinus maxillary.
