RESUMO

O presente artigo trata do processo de estruturação e institucionalização do Conselho Nacional de Secretarias Municipais de Saúde e também dos Conselhos de Secretarias Municipais de Saúde desde que eles surgiram, no contexto da Reforma Sanitária, até o momento atual. Eles se veem diante de uma oportunidade e também de um desafio, em razão da lei 12.466/11, que os reconhece como legítimos representantes dos entes municipais no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde. .

ABSTRACT

This study aims to report the process of structure and institutionalization of Conselho Nacional de Secretarias Municipais de Saúde and Conselhos de Secretarias Municipais de Saúde ever since they appeared in the context of the Sanitary Reform up to the present time.
