Os sentidos e os significados da gestão social do desenvolvimento de territórios podem ser compreendidos na contemporaneidade quando se considera o território como a origem e o destino das ações. Para quem se faz, onde, como e quando se faz, quem são os gestores sociais, que perfis e designs formativos desses gestores são questões que estruturam esse texto que se apoia na experiência de um programa de formação de gestores sociais.

ABSTRACT

The senses and the meanings of social management in the development of territories can be understood contemporarily when the territory is considered as the source and destination of action. For whom is it done, where, how, and when is it done, who are the social managers, what are the profiles and formative designs of these managers, are questions that frame this text, which is based on the experience of a programme for training social managers.
