(TRUNCADO)
ABSTRACT
Adolescents are among the less studied population in the field of physical activities and health. Special issues in this group related with its behavior, ethical limitations of the studies and lack of a history of dedication to the investigation of health issues in a scientific manner in the scholar world are a few of the awful lot of causes that determines this circumstance. Gym Teachers otherwise, sometimes tend to feel discouraged with the fact of, they think, is a poor workout of the children in the gym class in terms of physiological demand and consequently in terms of organic changes that are positive for physical capacity and health. This investigation represents the beginning of a work line in an educational institution that aims to fulfill this empty space in the link of the education, health and physical capacity investigation. It also seeks to be a prove of the real impact that a type of workout causes on the adolescent organism, and by so doing, to encourage Gym Teacher in their work, by proving the verified organic changes that take place within the class that permit to believe in the structural and functional transformation that the scholar gym class can determine. 36 adolescents between 14 and 16 years old, 11 females and 25 males of a middle level educational institute that do a spinning workout during the gym class were evaluated. The cardiac frequency, systolic and diastolic blood pressure were registered before and within the workout. Females show consistently low values of both parameters either at rest or in the middle of the workout but the differences were not significant. Some males show high levels of blood pressure before the workout, with a tendency to stabilize and in some cases get low within. Some individual, males and females exhibit descending values of blood pressure during the activity. The behavior of the cardiac frequency was much more regular It rises in almost all individual...(TRUNCADO)
