We carried out this study in the municipality of Lagoa da Confusion (TO) on the strandof social research, with focus on participatory approach. To this goal, we organized four meetings that brought together up to 11 participants, respecting the idea of establishment of participatory groups. Data arising from these meetings were analyzed making use of the technique of discourse analysis. The central themes that stood out in the discussions were politics, precarious work, pesticides and participation. Through this participatory methodology, we found that the workerhealth surveillance, defines itself as an important political strategy, enabling the interaction between and institutional social actors in the aim of generating local changes. Finally, it was constructed a collective product (work plan) whose main objective is transforming work conditions of the local agribusiness.
