A pesquisa participante na formação continuada de professores de educação física: a identificação da realidade / The participant research in the continued formation of teachers of physical education: the identification of reality

RESUMO

Com o objetivo de estruturar um programa de formação continuada voltado a professores de Educação Física (EF) do estado de Roraima, dando voz aos docentes desde o momento do planejamento das ações, foi realizada uma pesquisa participante tendo como pano de fundo o cotidiano escolar. Foram sujeitos da pesquisa três gestores da área da Educação do município de Boa Vista e 23 professores de EF. Após análise documental dos regulamentos que regem a EF na cidade, reuniões com a equipe gestora e seminários de planejamento com os docentes, as demandas elencadas abrangeram aspectos de ordem administrativa, pedagógica e tópicos relativos à formação inicial. A partir das sugestões levantadas, o programa foi estruturado em temas 1. Normas que regem a EF na escola; 2. Identidade da EF na escola e suas relações com as demais disciplinas do currículo; 3. Conteúdos de ensino; 4. Didática da EF a partir de reflexões sobre a prática; 5. O processo avaliativo na EF escolar; 6. Estruturação e aplicação das abordagens metodológicas em EF escolar. Os resultados permitem inferir que existem algumas deficiências na formação inicial que se materializam na prática pedagógica e podem ser sanadas por meio de programas de formação continuada que estimulem e considerem a reflexão dos professores sobre sua docência.

ABSTRACT

With the objective of structuring a continued formation program turned to teachers of Physical Education (PE) of the state of Roraima giving voice to the docent staff from the moment of action planning, a participant research was held having as background the school day-by-day, searching for convergences/divergences between the theory held in the initial formation courses and the pedagogical practice in schools. Three municipal managers of the education area in the district of Boa Vista, and 23 teachers of physical education were subjects of the research. After the documental analysis of the rules that regulate the PE in the city, meetings with the managing team and planning seminars with the docent staff, the questions raised were related to topics of administrative order, pedagogical order and topics related with the initial formation. From suggests of then, the program was structured in themes 1. Norms regulating PE in schools; 2. Identity of the PE in the school and their relations with the other disciplines of the curriculum; 3. Contents of teaching; 4. Didactics of PE from reflexions about the practice; 5 The evaluation process in school PE; 6. Structuration and application of the methodological approaches in school Physical Education. The results allow to infer that any deficiencies in the initial formation can be remedied by continued formation programs that stimulate and take into account the teacher´s reflection on their pedagogical practice.
