RESUMO
The author, studied 15 cases underwent to intracapsular fecectomy, and found the incidency of 6 cases of macular cistoid edema, that corrspondes to 40%. This percentage, is included in the normal parameters founded in others ophtalmological centers. He has concluded that the pre and post operatives cases as the cirurgical thecnics used are under satisfatory aules
