ABSTRACT
The study was carried out in 2 groups 65 persons in control group (non-exposed) and 254 occupational carbon monoxide exposed workers. The results:
carbon monoxide concentration in some work places was higher than the allowable limit from 1.2 to 5.3 times. The pollution had influence on the health of 91 workers (influence on nervous, circulatory, respiratory, digestive systems and anemia,…). 23 among 254 exposed workers suffered from occupational carbon monoxide chronic clinical poisoning. Among 197 workers permanently exposed, 18 suffered from occupational acute CO poisoning (1 worker was dead by the acute carbon monoxide poisoning).
