Diagnostic value of CT in acute pancreatitis / 中国基层医药

ABSTRACT

Objective To judge the value of CT in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis.Methods 44 cases of acute severe pancreatitis comfirmed by operation, pathology and CT examination were reviewed.Results According to CT findings, they were divided into edematous type (n = 30) and necrotic type (n = 14).Seven cases were complicated with infection.Swelling was in 38 cases,and exudation in 34 cases,and necrosis in 14 cases,and splenomegaly in 20 cases.Conclusion CT was valuable in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis,meanwhile,it was helpful to fix quantity, find complications and predict prognosis.
