Thoughts on Point Shouwuli(LI13) Contraindicated for Acupuncture in Ancient Times / 上海针灸杂志

ABSTRACT

Point Shouwuli(LI13)is the point contraindicatedfor acupuncture in all acupuncture books recording points contraindicated for acupuncture. The authors explore this issue from several aspects ancient medical book records, modern anatomy of point Shouwuli and the modern application of point Shouwuli, elaborate the ancient and modern applications of point Shouwuli and do some thinking. The results show that contraindicating point Shouwuli for acupuncture is of important significance for reference in today's clinical application.
