ABSTRACT
Objective:
To establish an HPLC method for the determination of entrapment efficiency of matrine microspheres .Meth-odsA Fortis XiC18 (250 mm ×4.6 mm, 5μm) column was used , the mobile phase consisted of methanol-acetonitrile-3%phosphoric acid solution (11∶80∶9).The flow rate was 0.6 ml· min-1.The detection wavelength was 210 nm, the column temperature was at 25℃and the sample size was 20 μl.Results:
The linear range of matrine was 3-150 μg · ml-1 ( r =0.999 7).The recovery was 99.92%(RSD=0.97%, n=9).The entrapment efficiency of matrine microspheres was 81.85%±3.22%(n=3).Conclusion:
The method is suitable for the determination of entrapment efficiency of matrine microspheres .
