ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:

To solve the transparency problem of the compound rhubarb oral liquid.

METHODS:

To analyse the factors affecting the transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid through the way of changing the contents or the prepa- ration process. Thereby to optimize the technic conditions for the transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid on the basis of the stability acceleratory experiment.

RESULTS:

The pH value was the main factor affecting the transparency. The problem of transparency of the compound rhubarb oral liquid could be well settled provided we control the pH value from 6. 7 to 7. 0 in the process of preparation.

CONCLUSION:

The established new technology is stable in quality.
