ABSTRACT

Object To investigate the relationship between plasma tumor necrosis factor ?(TNF-?) and insulin resistance in the patients with non obese type 2 diabetes.Methods The levels of plasma TNF-? and serum insulin were measured in 38 patients with type 2 diabetes and 30 healthy subjects by immuno-radioassay. Insulin sensitive index (ISI) and body mass index(BMI) were also calculated.
