ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the concentration changes of endothelin-1(ET-1) in brain after cerebral ischemia pretreatment in the rats and the relationship of ET-1 and ischemia tolerance. Methods Cerebral ischemia pretreatment was performed by ameliorated obstructing four blood vessels in wistar rats. The concentrations of ET-1 in brain were measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).
