ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effect of Huangqi (Radix Astragali seu Hedysari) Injectio on the abnormal expression of aquaporin-1 (AQP-1) caused by glucose lactate peritoneal dialysis solution. Methods Different glucose concentration lactate peritoneal dialysis solutions and Huangqi Injectio given to the rats intraperitoneally. Eight weeks later, the ultrafiltration of peritoneal dialysis, peritoneum clearance, peritoneal structure, AQP-1 and its gene expression were observed.
