Antis-lipid Peroxidation of Zhiganle in Rats with Fatty Liver / 中国药房

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To explore the therapeutic effect of Chinese herbal compounds Zhiganle on fatty liver induced by high-cholesterol high fat diet in rats and the action mechanism.METHODS:Wistar rats were randomized into 6 groupsnormal group,model group,Dongbao gantai group,ZGL groups(high,middle,and low doses).Except the normal group,the other 5 groups of rats were administered with high-cholesterol high fat diet for 12 weeks.On week 13,the ZGL groups were administered intragastrically with Zhiganle(1.5,3.0,4.5 g?kg-1) and rats in Dongbao gantai group with Dongbao gantai(0.3 g?kg-1) qd for 12 consecutive weeks.The hematological indexes were measured and the pathological change in rats was observed.RESULTS:In ZGL groups,serum levels of total cholesterol(T-CH) and triglyceride(TG) and the MDA level in liver were decreased significantly(P
