ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:

To study the similarity and difference of approximate recipes for edema.

METHODS:

The approximate clinical commonly used recipes for edema were analyzed in respect of medicine constitute, interpretation of the cause, main functions and clinical application of modern Chinese medicine, etc.

RESULTS:

The similarity and difference of approximate recipes were found out and their key points in clinical application were confirmed.

CONCLUSIONS:

It must be careful and considerate to identify the type of edema, afford the reasonable recipes and combine the essence of interpretation of the cause when the new therapy methods are put forward according to modern Chinese medicine. Recipes which are chosen and applied according to their similarity and difference can obtain comparatively sound curative effect.
