ABSTRACT
Objective:
To explore the relationship between undergraduates' achievement motivation,emotion and behavior problem.Methods:
403 undergraduates were selected to report achievement motivation,self-esteem,trait anxiety,depression,loneliness and problem-behaviors.Results:
①Undergraduates had higher scores in motivation of achieving success than motivation of avoiding failure;②Motive of achieving success was positively correlated with self-esteem and negatively correlated with trait anxiety,depression,loneliness and problem-behaviors.The correlations mode between motive of avoiding failure and such variables as self-esteam were inverse to those of the motivation of success.③The kind of undergraduates pursuing success had higher scores in self-esteem,lower scores in anxiety,depression,loneliness and problem-behaviors than the kind of undergraduates avoiding failure.Conclusion:
Undergraduates' achievement motivation had close relation-ship with their emotion and behavior problem.
