ABSTRACT
Objective:
911 college students' from Xi'an were assessed in order to examine the relationship of college students' social adjustment and five-factor personality.Methods:
The Chinese College Student Adjustment Scale(CCSAS)and the Five-factor Personality Inventory were used for investigation.Results:
①Boys' interpersonal relationship was lower than girls',but satisfaction was higher than girls';social adjustment of freshmen was the best,but seniors' was the worst;②There were significant correlations between personality and social adjustment;③College students with different personality type had significant difference on social adjustment.Conclusion:
There are significant correlations between personality and social adjustment;College students with different personality type have significant difference in social adjustment.
