Determination of Paeoniflorin Content in Kun'an Pills by HPLC / 广州中医药大学学报

ABSTRACT

[Objective] To establish a method for the determination of paeoniflorin content in Kun'an Pills. [Methods] High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used. The chromatographic conditions were Hypersil ODS column, acetonitrile-water (17 83) as mobile phase, detection wavelength at 230 nm and the flow rate being 1.0 mL/min. [Results] A good linearity of paeoniflorin was shown in the range of 0.096 8 - 0.484 0 ?g, r = 0.999 8; the average recovery was 97.84% and the relative standard deviation being 1.44%. [Conclusion] This method is simple and effective and can be used for the quality control for Kun'an Pills.
