Expression of survivin gene and main transcript variants mRNA in colorectal carcinomas / 重庆医科大学学报

ABSTRACT

Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of the expressions of survivin gene and its main transcript variants mRNA in colorectal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of total survivin,survivin-△Ex3,survivin-2B,survivin-3B,survivin 2?,and CEA CAM 5 mRNA in 39 cases colorecta1 cancer,adjacent tissues (2.5 cm from the cancer margin) and norma1 colorecta1 tissue (10 cm from the cancer margin) were detected by RT-PCR technique and semi-quantitative methods use gel imaging analytical system or SYBR GreenⅠreal-time fluorescent PCR. Results: The positive rates of total survivin,survivin-△Ex3,survivin-2B,survivin-3B,survivin2?, and CEA CAM5 mRNA in colorectal carcinoma and adjacent tissue were 100.0%,92.3%,92.3%,79.5%,87.2%,97.4%,and 38.5%,25.6%,28.2%,7.7%,12.8%,12.8%,showing significant difference in two tissues (P0.05).
