Clinical Trail of Zhonghui Tangmaikang in Treating Prophase Diabetes / 中国中医药信息杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of Zhonghui Tangmaikang on clinical symptom, blood sugar and lipid of pre-diabetes patients. Method Seventy-two patients of pre-diabetes were divided into 2 groups randomly (36 patients of Zhonghui Tangmaikang group, 36 patients of metformin hydrochloride group), the course of treatment was 12 weeks. The changes of clinical symptoms, FPG, OGTT 2 h PG, TC, TG, LDL-C and HDL-C of the two groups were observed.
