ABSTRACT

Objective:To study the family function of heroin addicts who accept methadone maintenance treatment.Methods:96 heroin addicts who accept methadone maintenance treatment were identified as study group, while the control were 36 heroin addicts in community.Family Assessment Device (FAD) was used to assess the outcome.Results:After 1 year intervention, the study group made much progress in each subscale .The scores of Problem Solving(2.2?0.4), Communication(2.2?0.3), Roles(2.4?0.3), Affective Responsiveness(2.4?0.5) and General Function(2.2?0.4)of the study group were higher than that of control group significantly(PS=2.3?0.4,CM=2.6?0.3,RL=2.5?0.3,AR=2.6?0.3,GF=2.5?0.3,t=1.962～6.744,P
