Conclusion Removal of thrombus burden with the Diver CE catheter before stenting leads to improvement of myocardial reperfusion and left ventricular function in patients with AMI by a reduced risk of distal embolization and improved ST-segment resolution. Diver CE thrombus aspiration before primary PCI can be used easily and safely in the patients with AMI suffering from coronary arterial thrombosis.
