ABSTRACT

Objective:

To explore influence of rehabilitation pathway treatment on therapeutic effect and prognosis of patients with non -ST elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Methods:

A total of 120 NSTEMI patients undergoing PCI treated in our hospital were selected. They were randomly and equally divided into routine treatment group and rehabilitation pathway group.Therapeutic effect,in-cidence of complications, scores of self -rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)and quality of life(QOL)before and after treatment were observed, measured and compared between two groups.

Results:

Af-ter treatment, total effective rate of rehabilitation pathway group was significantly higher than that of routine treat-ment group(91.7% vs.75.0%,P=0.014).Compared with before treatment, after treatment, there were signifi-cant reductions in scores of SAS and SDS,and significant rise in QOL score in both groups(P=0.001 all);com-pared with routine treatment group after treatment, there were significant reductions in scores of SAS[(50.3 ± 4.8) scores vs.(31.9 ± 4.3)scores]and SDS[(49.6 ± 4.1)scores vs.(32.7 ± 3.8)scores],and significant rise in QOL score[(72.9 ± 5.8)scores vs.(83.6 ± 6.3)scores]in rehabilitation pathway group,P=0.001 all.Incidence rate of complications in rehabilitation pathway group was significantly lower than that of routine treatment group(10.0%vs.26.7%,P=0.018).

Conclusion:

Rehabilitation pathway treatment can alleviate emotions of anxiety and depres-sion,improve quality of life and therapeutic effect, and reduce incidence of complications in patients with non -ST elevation myocardial infarction undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.
