ABSTRACT

Objective:To study comparitively the iIEL activation of somatic polysaccharose of bifidobacteria and E.coli.Methods:Intestinal intraepithelial lymphocyte(iIEL)is isolated from small intestine using Percoll discontinuous density gradient centrifugation At the same time, somatic polysaccharose of bifidobacteria and E.coli are isolated by organic solvent and are cultured with iIEL,then the natural killing activity of iIEL and ability to produce interleukin 2(IL 2)were examined Results:Somatic polysaccharose of bifidobacteria and E.coli significantly enhance natural killing activity of iIEL and its ability to produce IFN? and IL 2 (P
