ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effects of tunicamycin(TM)-inhibitor of N-glycosylation of proteins on proliferation and apoptosis of glomerular mesangial cells(GMC) and synthesis of FN. Methods Morphology of GMC apoptosis was observed under eletron microscopy, and flowcytometry was used for assessing apoptosis rate. GMC proliferation was examined by MTT assay.
