ABSTRACT
Objective To study the regulation of Yuping-Canger powder on allergic rhinitis in rats with immune function. Methods 80 female SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups respectively, model group, low dose group, high dose group and control group. 20 rats in each group. Used ovalbumin (OVA) sensitization and stimulate to establish the rat model of allergic rhinitis, and low dose group, high dose group were given Yuping-Canger powder (0.24 g/kg and 0.71 g/kg) treatment, model group and control group were given normal saline, treatment for 7 days. The serum OVA specific IgE by ELISA (OVA-sIgE), IL-4, IL-10 and IFN-γ levels, spleen cells was detected by flow cytometry. Spleen cells detected by flow cytometry CD4+CD25+T cell ratio in liquid suspension. Results Compared with the control group, IL-4, IL-10 and IFN-γ, OVA-sIgE, CD4+CD25+T cells of model group, low dose group, high dose group increased significantly (P<0.05);compared with the model group, of IL-4, IL-10 and OVA-sIgE of low dose group, high dose group decreased, the proportion of CD4+CD25+T cells increased significantly (P<0.05); compared with the low dose group, IL-4, IL-10 and OVA-sIgE of high dose group decreased significantly, the proportion of CD4+CD25+T cells increased significantly (P<0.05).Conclusions The Yuping-Canger powder can inhibit Th2 cell responses and enhanced CD4+CD25+T cell activity play anti allergic effect, and thus play a role in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.
