Progress in development and application of FNA washout detection in thyroid and parathyroid surgery / 中华内分泌外科杂志

ABSTRACT

Recently,the detection of FNA washout has been widely spread due to its high diagnostic efficiency,which then derived several detection indicators so far.Based on the relative literature,this paper aims to review the progress in development and application of FNA washout detection in thyroid and parathyroid surgery.We will summary the diagnosis applications from the following five parts1.FNA-Tg in lymph node metastasis of thyroid cancer,2.FNA-CT in medullary thyroid carcinoma and lymph node metastasis,3.FNA-PTH in hyperparathyroidism and intraoperative protection of parathyroid,4.FNA-FT4 in thyroid adenoma,5.FNA-MK in distinguishing between benign and malignant thyroid nodules.
