Expression of SLC39A6 in Hnman Bladder Cancer / 医学研究杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression of SLC39A6 in hnman bladder cancer and its clinical significance.Methods Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect the expression of SLC39A6 in para-carcinoma tissue and bladder cancer tissue,and all the tissues were derived from the pathological specimens of 54 cases of bladder cancer patients.Besides,we will analyse the correlation between the expression of SLC39A6 and the histological grade and clinical pathologic staging of bladder cancer.Results The expression level of SLC39A6 in para-carcinoma tissue and bladder cancer tissue were respectively 0.353 ± 0.057 and 0.592 ± 0.069.The result of comparison between two groups shows that the expression level of SLC39A6 in bladder cancer tissue is significantly higher than that in para-carcinoma tissue,so there is a significant difference between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).In addition,the expression level of of SLC39A6 in bladder cancer tissue were significantly increased with the increasing of histological grades and clinical pathologic staging (P =0.000).Conclusion The expression of SLC39A6 in human bladder cancer tissue is up-regulated compared with normal human bladder tissue,and it may promote the invasiveness and metastasis of bladder cancer.
