ABSTRACT

Children with congenital heart disease always prone to anxiety and irritability because of huge surgical trauma , using cardiopulmonary bypass during surgery, invasive procedure combined with environmental factors, stress response and so on.Those all lead to unstable circulation, increasing heart rate and blood pressure which are not conducive to recover.So the goal directed sedation therapy play a key role to reduce stress response, decrease oxygen consumption and keep circulation sta-ble.
