ABSTRACT
Objective This article takes the capital special research program of Chinese medicine as an example to explore the role of special funds in supporting the development of non-dominant subjects and balancing the development of various disciplines.Methods Statistical data analysis was conducted to analyze the approved projects,papers published and patents of Capital Medical University's Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine disciplines during the period of special establishment.Results With the support of special funds,the number of approved projects and output of achievements has been significantly improved.Conclusions The positive role of the special fund on the training of talents,the development of the subject and the basic clinical cooperation is confirmed.Through the analysis of the problems and countermeasures in the management process,it provides a reference for the development of other non-dominant subjects.
