Simultaneous determination of hesperidin and berberine hydrochloride in Ganhai-Weikang capsules by high performance liquid chromatography / 国际中医中药杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective:To establish a HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of hesperidin and berberine hydrochloride in Ganhai-Weikang capsules. Methods:The column was Sepax Bio-C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm), and the mobile phase was methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid with radient elution,and the flow was 1.0 ml/min, and the temperature was 35 ℃, and the detection wavelength was 280 nm.Results:The hesperidin and berberine hydrochloride showed good linear relationships with the peak area within the ranges of 0.049 75-0.497 50 μg, 0.035 42-0.354 20 μg ( r=1.000 0). The average recoveries were 98.52%, 97.57%, RSDs ( n=9) were 1.2%, 1.0%, respectively. Conclusions:This method is simple, convenient, stable and accurate, which can be used for the simultaneous determination of hesperidin and berberine hydrochloride in Ganhai-Weikang capsules.
