ABSTRACT

Objective:

To study the practice of multicultural nursing teaching, explore the teaching reform of multicultural nursing, and provide the basis for the development of multicultural nursing teaching reform.

Methods:

Totally 50 college nursing students were selected as the research objects, and the multicultural nursing teaching mode was implemented for the research objects. The questionnaire was used to analyze and compare the mastery and cross-cultural sensitivity of nursing students before and after the intervention, and to analyze the learning effect before and after the implementation of the teaching mode.

Results:

After the implementation of multicultural nursing knowledge of nursing students increased from (93.38 ± 9.75) points to (116.32 ± 10.13) points, and the total score of cross-cultural sensitivity increased from (76.56 ± 8.15) points to (88.43 ± 7.62) points. The difference was statistically significant ( t values were 9.28, 8.65, P < 0.01).

Conclusion:

The multi-cultural nursing teaching mode greatly improves the cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability of multi-cultural nursing of nursing students, achieves significant teaching effect, and has high practical and promotion value.
