ABSTRACT
A total of 485 subjects belonging to nine (9) population groups were studied for blood Lead (Pb) determination. Out findings show that (1) Population groups who are exposed purely to airborne lead vapor and gaseous materials show an aggregation of blood Lead level values while those population groups who are furtherly exposed to Lead particulates which can contaminate their food and water shows a clearly marked scattering of blood Lead level values. (2) FAR and POL apparently dont run a high health risk to lead; SC, PA, AFW and OR workers show a higher health risk, while PF, CF and BCF workers have the highest health risk to the toxic materialProper preventive measures are necessary as well as education of workers on the hidden hazards of their work
